PLEASE HELP ME ! Ansel Dekle in the original Dekle Book listed the wife of Charles Dekle, 1st son of John Leonard the immigrant, as Betannia Georgia Ross. We know Charles Dekle moved from Georgia to Alabama with his family and lived there for the remainder of his life, however existing records and tombstones in Alabama show his wife to be Elizabeth S. Dekle. In addition, Ansel Dekle's book shows two children for Charles, Betannia and Daniel, who also are missing from the records in Alabama. Does anyone have any official documentation, or know of any, which would help to clarify the status of Betannia Georgia Ross, and the children Daniel and Betannia?
